Fundraising

The "Breaths for Newborns? Campaign
Everyday in Vietnam about 100 babies die after birth. Most of them can be saved with good newborn resuscitation. In 2005, Project Vietnam started the Newborn Care Initiative and has trained healthcare personnel in 55% of the Vietnam provinces. They now need simple respiratory equipment to help the babies breathe.

Project Vietnam has initiated a fundraising campaign ?Breaths for Newborns? to provide CPR kits to trained health personnel. Since September 2006 Project Vietnam has donated 750 Newborn Resuscitation kits & trained Vietnam healthcare personnel. The kits can be used to save 75,000 babies.
