Matching Gifts:

Many companies offer a matching gift program to their employees as an added benefit. With such a program, the company will match the employee's gift to charitable and educational organizations.

If your company has a matching gift program, you can take advantage of it by filling out the matching gift form, which you can get from the Human Resources office of your company.

Please send your gift and the completed matching gift form to:

AAP Chapter 4 Project VietNam

   Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Search the CASE Matching Gift Company Database to see if your company is a matching gift company.

Employee Charitable Fund Drive:

If your company has an employee charitable fund drive, please consider making a gift to Project VietNam there. Your company may add a matching gift to accompany yours. Many companies  add a charity to the "approved" list for employee giving if one or more employees ask to make a gift to that charity. Being on the approved list often means other employees will see our name and decide to support us, too.

United Way: If your company has a "United Way" campaign that allows you to direct your contribution to charities other than United Way, please take advantage of that opportunity to do so.

Charitable Bequest:

A bequest is a gift specified in a will or trust.

There are several types of bequests:

  • A general bequest leaves a specified dollar amount.
  • A specific bequest designates certain asset items.
  • A residuary bequest allows you to assign a certain percentage of your estate's value.

There is no limit on the amount that can be deducted from your taxable estate.
